It may be small, but this formula car packs a punch. This is a QRE Invader built for the F5 class, and is currently used in wheel to wheel SCCA racing by our head honcho.
The 106hp Rotax 494 engine doesn't sound like much, but consider that the car weighs in at just over 800lbs with driver. That's a ~7.6:1 power to weight ratio for those keeping score at home, which puts it close to a new 992 Porsche 911 Carrera S.
More importantly, it's not about what it can do in a straight line; it's all about the corners. This machine can generate so much g-force in a turn that it will have it's pilot questioning physics.
