Combined with the EcuFlash software, the OpenPort 2.0 is capable of reflashing a large number of newer Subaru and Mitsubishi vehicles, and support for other cars is in progress.
We include a USB cable with each OpenPort, which is all the hardware you'll need unless you have one of the few vehicles that require a separate reflash adapter. For Subaru you'll only need a reflash adapter for the 2001 through 2005 WRX, but not STi, unless you're working on an early non USDM STi in which case you made need one of our WRX adapters. No other Subaru vehicles require reflash adapters including Forester, Baja, Legacy, or naturally aspirated Impreza models. For Mitsubishi, you'll need the adapter for most pre CAN vehicles which include the 5-9 Evo. Choose the adapter you need from the 'Reflash Adapters' drop down list on the right side of this page.

How it works
- Purchase this item. In the comments field, list the year and trim of your Evo X, along with every modification to the car which could effect performance. This includes, but is not limited to engine modifications, wheels, tires, intake, exhaust, weight reduction, fuel system, etc.
- Depending on the extent of your modifications, you may be required to pay additional fees for your tune. Items such as upgraded fuel systems, turbos, larger MAF housings, and so on will require much more time and calibration, hence, added cost.
- You will be emailed a starter tune. You will be asked to download this tune to your ECU and log certain parameters in certain conditions.
- Email us the logs, and you will receive an updated tune. The process of logging and updating your tune will continue until the tune is complete. An entry level tune will have a maximum of 15 versions for the above price.
Note: The tunes are the intellectual property of SpeedCircuit, and may not be shared with anyone without written consent. Furthermore, it is the responsibility of the owner to ensure that the car is mechanically sound. SpeedCircuit is not liable for any damages that may occur to your car. E-Tunes are done at your risk.
Requirements

- Tactrix OpenPort 2.0 Cable w/ EvoScan OR a Cobb Accessport
- If you wish to use the ECUFlash method of tuning but do not have a Tactrix 2.0 cable, you can purchase one here.
- A knowledge and understanding of how a car works mechanically, in order to be able to track down potential issues.
- If it is suspected that your car has mechanical issues, you will be asked to address them or have a professional do so. If you do not look into suspected mechanical issues, we will not be able to resume tuning your car until you do. It is not the responsibility of the tuner to diagnose any mechanical issues.
Recommended
- An Innovate or AEM Wideband O2 gauge with logging cable (required for all non-stock turbo tunes). If logging with a serial cable, we recommend a plugable USB to serial adapter which is available on amazon. If you are going to log via an analog connection, which is the only current way to log via Cobb AccessPort, see here for wiring instructions.

You may be asked to log more items as the tune progresses.
Please be sure to only do one full throttle pull per log. The pull should be from 3200-7000rpm unless specified otherwise.
Warning: E-Tuning requires that the driver of the car be aware of potential issues that may arise during tuning. This may include the car running lean, overboosting, detonating, or any other mechanical issues. If something doesn't feel right, take your foot off the throttle immediately and end the pull. SpeedCircuit, LLC is not responsible for any damages your car may incur! If you are not comfortable with this, please visit us for an in-person tune.
Expect an average of one new tune file per week. This will vary based on both our schedule and how quickly you can provide logs for the most recent update to your tune. There may be times where we may be unavailable, so on occasion there may be weeks where we are not available for e-tuning.

The GrimmSpeed™ Mitsubishi EVO Boost Control Solenoid is designed to work with your factory computer (requires tuning). It will not reduce the life of your factory computer because it is designed to draw the same amount of power as the factory BCS but flows better and reacts faster. It plugs in and requires no splicing or soldering of resistors. With the included bracket you can bolt it in, plug in the connector, and start tuning for fast boost response, increased boost pressure and free up lots of power. Planning on returning the car to stock? Just reverse installation.
Why run an Electronic BCS over a Manual Boost Controller?
A MBC allows you to run higher than stock boost levels by preventing the wastegate from opening at its rated pressure. It does a great job at this but if boost is available under the MBC setting it will give you that full boost. So for instance, you set your MBC to 18psi because from 3000-6000rpm thats what you want. But then say you get detonation with 18psi when you are at 7000rpm unless you are below 16psi. With a MBC, you do not have this control so you are forced to run 16psi through the entire rev range. With an electronic boost controller you could run 18psi from 3000-6000 and 16psi at 7000rpm because you can tune the boost map in the ECU which will allow you to run the maximum amount of boost at every given rpm. This gives you more power throughout the range and better control. SpeedCircuit Secondary Fuel Pump Trigger Kit for Evo X

Regular price $100.00 Save $-100.00Do you have a dual pump setup in your Evo X and wish you had a good way of triggering the secondary pump? Traditionally, people have used a hobbs switch for this purpose, and while it works, they can be unreliable and a bit clunky. It will often require another bung welded into the intercooler piping, extra wires and hoses running through the engine bay, and it's just not as tidy as most people would like it to be.
We teamed up with ripnet and came up with a great new solution. This kit allows tuners to trigger a secondary fuel pump based on load using ECUFlash. The kit includes a plug and play connector and a software patch for your ECUFlash ROM.
Requirements:
- Must use a supported ROM ID. The supported IDs are listed below.
- The car must run a 3 port boost control solenoid connected to the brown connector.
- The factory 2-port solenoid which uses the black connector must be unplugged.
- The car must be an Evo X, this specific kit will not work on a Ralliart
- A secondary fuel pump must be installed and wired up with a relay. The secondary pump should not automatically run when the car is started.
Here's how it works:
- Plug the provided cable into the black connector which was originally connected to the black 2-port boost control solenoid.
- Run the wires through the car to the relay which controls the secondary fuel pump.
- Connect the blue wire to 86 on the relay and the red wire to 85.
- Go to this website and generate a license key with the coupon code that you were provided. Note that this will require your VIN number.
- Download the appropriate XML for your ROMID here.
- Open the downloaded file in a text editor such as notepad.
- Select all of text in the file by pressing CTRL+A, and copy it by pressing CTRL+C
- In a text editor, open the XML file that matches your ROMID in following folder (note: this may require Administrator permissions on your PC): "C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenECU\ECUFlash\rommetadata\mitsubishi\evo"
- Before the "</rom>" closing tag in the end of the file, paste the text from the downloaded file by pressing CTRL+V
- Save the file. If the file won't save, be sure your have Administrator rights to that folder.
- Launch ECUFlash and open your ROM file.
- Scroll down until you see "Secondary Fuel Pump"
- Open "Secondary Fuel Pump - Data", and press the "+" sign to make it say "Data Present".
- Open "Secondary Fuel Pump - Function Call", and press the "+" sign to make it say "Data Present".
- Open " Secondary Fuel Pump - License Key" and enter the License Key that you generated.
- (Optional) Open "Secondary Fuel Pump - Intercooler Sprayer Enabled" and use the "+" and "-" keys to toggle whether or not you want that feature enabled. This will trigger the intercooler sprayer light on your dashboard to turn on when the secondary pump is being fired.
- Open "Secondary Fuel Pump - Load vs RPM" - Set the load points for when you would like the secondary pump enabled at various RPMs.
- Open "Secondary Fuel Pump - Load Hysteresis" to edit the hysteresis of the trigger.

Note: These will work with the Tephramod v1-3 versions of these ROMs (i.e. replacing the third to last number from 0 to 1, 2 or 3). For example, the Tephramod v3 ROM ID 52680322 will work the same as the standard ROM 52680022.

We achieved this on a hot summer day on 93 octane fuel. The car has zero driveability issues, and is much smoother and faster than stock. Simply put, it's a whole new car.
This is the perfect solution for someone who wants a stealthy yet serious modification to the car. Aside from the large power gains, it is virtually undetectable by anyone, including dealerships. If you're concerned with keeping your warranty intact, this is the product for you.
When ordering, Please be sure to specify the octane of fuel you will be running. Please specify your performance modifications as well. Also be sure to choose how aggressive you'd like your tune to be.
Mild - Good gain in power, however conservative and very safe. If you're not obsessed with making top performance numbers, this choice is for you. This tune runs richer air:fuel ratios and less aggressive timing.
Medium - Better gain in power, more aggressive. This runs less rich and more aggressive timing than Mild.
Spicy - Almost as aggressive as hot. Essentially this is a "Hot!" tune with slightly less timing.
Hot! - Best gain in power, however the most aggressive. This flash runs air:fuel ratios and timing numbers for optimal torque and horsepower. It is STRONGLY recommended that your car is equipped with a wideband air:fuel gauge if you are considering this version of the flash.
You have two options on how to attain this flash.
Option 1 - Make an appointment to have your car flashed, and come see us. Aside from your driving time, this option only takes about 20 minutes to complete.
Option 2 - Mail-in flash. Remove the ECU from your car (instructions to be posted shortly) and ship it to us. You may want to ship it via an overnight carrier as to have your car down for a shortly as possible. While all of our flashes are extensively tested to produce good gains without any negative consequences, it must be noted that they are to be run at the risk of the customer.
