This is a simple yet elegant solution for 4B11 owners who have experienced failures in the factory MIVEC exhaust cam gear housing. The stock cast aluminum housing are prone to failure due to increased valve spring seat pressure from upgraded valve springs.
This replaces the stock phaser, but is fixed at the 0° position. This will require your exhaust MIVEC target maps to be set to 0 in your tune to avoid a check engine light. During testing, we have not found exhaust MIVEC timing changes to have an impact on power, so having them set to 0° results in no performance penalty.
Effectively, this deletes MIVEC on the exhaust cam.
Cam sprocket not included, but shown in the last photo for demonstration purposes.
